Halloween- Paper style

In September, my 2nd oldest daughter begged me to decorate for Halloween. She continued to beg and beg each day. I am not really a Halloween person, but I gave in. I busted out my Silhouette and Authentique's Glowing collection that I got for a steal from Scrapbooksteals.com.

I hopped over to the Silhouette Online store and bought some files for decorations:

Coffin

Graveyard

Haunted House

Haunted Mansion

Haunted mansion accesories

Witch Stand

Pumpkin Tealight luminary

5 Piece Zombie Set

Here is the final result:

It took a bit of time to assemble, but not as long as I was expecting and my kids absolutely love it. They show everyone who stops by.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Simple Stories Say Cheese Mini Album

I signed up to do the mini album swap for the Scrapbooksteals.com 2013 Retreat. The retreat is something that i looks forward to ever year because I get to see so many of my scrappy friends from all over. If you ever get the chance to go, don't miss out. It is so much fun and totally worth it!

Now back to the album. I received the "Say Cheese" collection to use on a Kiwi Lane DT project. I have never been to Disneyland and have no plans to go in the near future so I decided a mini for the swap.

It is an 8x8 with Cinch chipboard covers, American Crafts Black cardstock for the pages, "Say Cheese" collection, and bound with a Cinch.

Scrapbooksteals.com's October Blog Hop with My Mind's Eye Titles, Quotes & Die Cuts Mega Pack

I love to scrapbook, but really struggle with card making. Today's steal on Scrapbooksteals.com My Mind's Eye Titles, Quotes & Die Cuts Mega Pack- is the absolute best thing for me to make cards with. I was super excited when Melodee asked me to participate in the blog hop because I have been eyeing this Mega Pack when I have seen it before and have never been too sure about it. Well, let me just say that is packed full of so much goodness that you could easily use it for a million different things.

If you checked out the steal, you noticed that this pack is just huge. My first step was to separate all the pieces into their various MME lines. Once that was done, I grabbed my card blanks and small stack and got to work.

With just what was included in the pack, card blanks and inks, I was able to create all these cards. Easiest card making ever!

I am excited to add this bunch of cards to my stash so I can quite stressing about running out.  If you still aren't sure about the awesomeness of this kit, here is what I have left:
There is still plenty left to make lots and lots of more cards.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying the Blog Hop.  Be sure to head over to Heather's blog next and check out some more awesome projects. And remember, 1 lucky commenter on one of the blogs in the hop will win a $20 Gift certificate to Scrapbooksteals.com so be sure to leave a comment!
